Why This Matters

Most people don’t realize:

We say no to that. Mumma’s PDF Reader runs locally, respects your space, and works offline — just as it should.

What Data We Collect

None. We do not collect, store, or access any personal information, device data, or file contents.

Only asks for Permissions that are Required

The app only requests below access to open/read PDFs — nothing more. No camera, contacts, location, or background activity tracking.

1. No Internet Data Collection

This app does not collect or send any user data to our servers. All PDF viewing and text-to-speech processing happens locally on your device.

2. Text-to-Speech (TTS)

The app uses your device's built-in TTS engines (such as Google TTS or RHVoice). Some TTS engines may require an internet connection to produce natural-sounding speech and may send text to their cloud service for processing. You are in full control of which engine is used, and can choose offline voices for better privacy.

3. File Access

Storage access is requested only to open PDF files that you choose from your device. The app does not scan or upload your files. Nothing is accessed without your action.

4. No Ads or Trackers

We do not use any analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking libraries.

5. Permissions

• Storage: To open and view PDF files you select.
• Network: Only used if you select a TTS engine that requires it (e.g., Google Speech Services).

6. Your Control

You are always in control of what text is spoken and which engine is used. Nothing is triggered automatically without your action.
